Jack Bell :: JBPHOTOGRAPHY.JACK@GMAIL.COM
Jack Bell is literally a jack-of-all-trades. Not only is he a multi-talented photographer, he is an amateur boxer, martial arts instructor, volleyball club coach, physical therapist, hair stylist and amateur artist.
Jack’s winter scene was taken during the first snowfall of last year at Linn Run State Park. It was a very cold day that he remembers well. After the shot, he did some hiking and ended up stepping through some ice and into the freezing water of a stream. The end result was frostbite on his index finger. At 66 years old, he has have now come to realize that his body and mind are not always in sync as when he was younger.
“It is always a thrill to have your work picked by your peers, and have your name and work shown for others to enjoy. I still look at many other Photographers work in awe, In retrospect, I would have gone to college for this career, than my other had I known how much I was going to love this Art….You must always follow your heart. Not your head….:)”
Jack would like to thank his family who supported him over the years, and also those who told him not to go into the field, but that he needed a college degree to become an accomplished professional photographer. He’s always been of the mindset that if you tell him that he can’t do something, he will prove you wrong.
